Tenderness Painted

Painted look achieved with Topaz Studio Impressions. Giraffes are the world’s tallest mammals, thanks to their towering legs and long necks.

A giraffe’s legs alone are taller than many humans – about 6 feet.

The giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) is an African even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant. Its species name refers to its camel-like appearance and the patches of color on its fur. Its chief distinguishing characteristics are its extremely long neck and legs, its horn-like ossicones, and its distinctive coat patterns.
This image won first place in the “Your Favorite Animal” contest – 5/10/19.

A few words from Judy Vincent:

“I retired from social work with the state of Texas in 2009 and started learning about photography.

It has been my passion every since!

I enjoy traveling so nature, wildlife and landscapes are my favorite things to photograph.

But it doesn’t end there.

I love taking my photos into Photoshop and Topaz Studio to turn them into digital photo paintings.

My Image in the ‘Your Favorite Animal’ contest was a photo I took at a zoo. I absolutely love giraffes! They are so kind and nurturing toward their babies. In my image ‘Tenderness Painted’ I captured this Mom giving a gentle nudge to her baby.

I replaced the background with a texture image, then processed it in Topaz Studio to get the painterly look. I think it would look adorable in a child’s room. I have many other giraffe images in my gallery that are similar to this one that would also be appropriate for a child’s room. “

Dear Judy Vincent,

Thank you so much form your beautiful art work! We totally agree with you!

Best wishes!
